with 2 comments

This year at MAX I did a geeky session about things that people don’t usually know about AS3, Flex and Flash Builder. Below you can find recording of my session and the slides.

Discover the unknown of Flex 4.5 – MAX session input request

with one comment

During this year’s MAX I will be doing a presentation about things that are very useful but for some reason little known and rarely used in everyday Flex and AS3 development. The name of my session is “Discover the Unknown Flex 4.5”. This session is for you if you wants to learn new Flex/AS3 tips & tricks, check if you really know everything about Flex, and/or share your knowledge with others.

One of my goals is also to let anyone share their own tips & tricks so I’m expecting to initiate a free form discussion during the session. If you will not be attending this year’s MAX, I encourage to send me your input in advance. I will include most interesting proposals in my presentation, of course giving attribution to their authors ;)

You can use this contact form or use comments below to send me your input.

So see you at MAX 2011…

Slides and source code of my Adobe MAX 2010 presentation

with 5 comments

Adobe MAX 2010 is over and I’m heading back to Poland. Before I get on the plane I wanted to post my presentation deck and the source code of a demo app that I used to cover the DI frameworks. I also hope to post the session recording as soon as it gets to Adobe TV. BTW this years MAX was really awesome!

My Adobe MAX session it’s all about AS3/Flex Frameworks

with one comment

As you probably know, Adobe MAX conference is approaching really fast. Of course I will be there and I will have my own session. Guess what the BIGGEST FRAMEWORKS LOVER (watch the teaser below) can be talking about, of course: “Flex/ActionScript 3.0 Architecture and Dependency Injection Frameworks Overview”. I will also cover closely related stuff, such as design patterns including MVC, MVP or PM. So if you are at MAX this year come to my session; it’s on Wednesday 3:30pm – 4:30pm.

You can also meet me during a few other sessions where I will be serving as a Teaching Assistant.

without comments

Are you looking for more in depth info on how to you use Adobe AIR technology for e-Government and public sector RIA‘s? Maybe you work in a corporate enterprise environment and you would love to use Flex and AIR for your next project but you don’t know how to convince your boss that AIR is the right technical choice! Hmm, maybe you want to find out how to build PDF forms with LiveCycle Designer and integrate them with AIR application? Why UX is so important when building public facing apps? Or you just heard something about e-Deklaracje Desktop application built by Polish Ministry of Finance but you still want to learn more about best practices, used frameworks and lessons learned from that project.

If your answer is yes to any of the above questions you should definitely come to this years Adobe MAX that will be in Los Angeles from 4th to 7th of October and attend my session “Flex and Adobe AIR In Government: The e-Deklaracje Desktop” on Oct 7th at 5pm.

As you can see the scope of this session is broad but I think I will satisfy technical and more business oriented audience. Hope to see you there!

You can learn more about other sessions with MAX Scheduler application.
